Drinking soda? Relationship With Your Dental Health

Good dental health can be achieved by proper maintenance or cleaning. The frequency of frequent eating and eating sweet and sour foods can reduce your dental health.

Soda is a very popular drink. Soda is very easy to obtain whenever and wherever you are. Hot weather like in Indonesia is also one of your reasons for drinking soda.
1 can of Cola soda (300ml) containing 35-60 grams of sugar (3 tablespoons of food)

The sugar content produces acidic conditions in the mouth which will erode the layers of tooth thickness which will cause holes in the teeth.
Other types of soda like, Diet Soda or Sugar Free Soda also contain bicarbonate acid which will cause the same thing.

Suggestion:

  • Try to avoid Soda drinks, Energy drinks and Sport Drinks
  • Replace Soda by drinking enough mineral water
  • If you consume Soda drinks, it’s good
  1. use a straw
  2. rinse or drink mineral water afterwards
